Renew Floor for Academy in New Orleans, LA

Stevenson Academy of Hair Design was renovating their historic 100+ year old building. The original slab was in such bad shape that it had to be repoured. They wanted easy to clean concrete floors installed so they decided on metallic epoxy floor and Manatee for the color.

The Process

Concrete Flooring Company in Prairieville prepared the slab with our 30″ diamond grinder to open up the pores of the newly poured slab.  For adhesion, the concrete must be opened up properly in order for the epoxy to bite. We installed their new metallic epoxy flooring and top coated it with a clear industrial urethane.
